  • Rajesh Pratap Singh set out to design a bandhgala that doesn't perform authority. It simply has it. The Gaur is what that looks like.
  • 100% linen in deep black. No shoulder pads, half-lined with block print fabric. The silhouette stays structured where it should, the body moves where it needs to.
  • The bandhgala collar is a stand collar with no lapels, sitting close to the neck. A form that carries centuries of regimental bearing, worn here without the stiffness that usually comes with it.
  • Deconstructed through and through. The construction does less so the fabric can do more. Monogrammed buttons bearing the Rajesh Pratap Singh logo, and the collaboration mnemonic logo embroidered at the front side panel. Detail that earns its place.
  • Part of the RPS x Nicobar SS26 collection. Named for the Nilgiri Gaur, the largest wild cattle on earth, and one of the quietest things in the forest.
  • Style it with: Ivory jodhpurs for contrast. A Nicobar linen kurta underneath when the evening calls for layering. Wear it as it is. That’s the point.
