You’ll find our pop-up at David Hall, enclosed within a grassy courtyard and on a (relatively) quiet stretch of Fort Kochi. Every evening when the sun sets it is bathed in buttery light, all the better for a tea party.

Cheery, with a constant twinkle in her eye, we roped tea sommelier Snigdha in as our guide to proceedings, and, equipped with large glass canisters and an array of tea tins, she encouraged guests to sniff before they sipped (much like wine). A chilled glass of rose pomegranate iced tea was delicious, but we loved the aromas of the warm marigold green tea best.

A steady stream of visitors rounded off the perfect day. We’re still here Kochi. The tea party might be done, but the buttery light awaits.
