Our journey this season begins in Sri Lanka.

Deep in Sri Lanka’s central province, lies a forested haven—Kandy. With a delicate breeze, a gentle mist rising over the green, and cobalt skies Kandy is a summer dream. And this season we’ve woven some of these dreams into our designs with our light-as-air fabrics, graphic prints, and easy colour palette. vWe’ve traced a tropical path that travels from sunny streets to the design sensibility underpinning Geoffrey Bawa’s vision for the island nation. Touted as the father of Sri Lankan architecture, find his tropical modernist language reinterpreted, in everything from our stark, monochrome palette, bold stripes, checks and striking florals splashed across free flowing garments that herald the start of a beautiful summer.

Kandy is dip-dyed in contemporary experience that is symbolic of Sri Lanka, but stays true to the lived-in, year-round breeziness that you’ll find aplenty on our little island. Diaphanous chanderi mingles with easy-wearing cotton in a graphic palette: you’ll find bold prints, ultra-feminine silhouettes and little details that bring in spring with open arms. Wear it to brunch, out on vacation, or to work on a Wednesday—these pieces are designed to stay with you.
